The Man who saved the Taj Mahal
A David vs. Goliath story about an extraordinary man, Mahesh Chander Mehta. Trained as a lawyer, Mahesh becomes an environmentalist and activist who successfully lobbys India’s Supreme Court to save the gleaming white walls of the Taj Mahal from the debilitating effects of air pollution. He then turns his charisma, leadership and spirit towards saving the Ganges River and other major tributaries from human and industrial waste pollution. The operating philosophy is that only the people can save the country, not the government; and, certainly not the multi-national industrial corporations.
